CA I: 1st Person P.O.V. Assignment
You will be creating a 1st person point of view story on Xtranormal
Step One: Before you begin creating a movie on Xtranormal, you need to decide on WHAT story you are going to tell
a. Topic choices - an event that happened to you this summer or an event that has happened within the first few weeks of school
Examples - a memorable trip, an athletic event, a funny memory with your best friend/sibling/family
*It must be SCHOOL-APPROPRIATE...if in doubt, don't write about it!
b. On a piece of paper, write out a rough draft of your story and the dialogue that goes along with it
Remember - When writing dialogue, use quotation marks to indicate that a character is talking.
Step Two: Go to the Xtranormal site, log in, and begin creating your movie
a. Choose a character that represents you and a character that represents another person in your story
b. Choose a setting the represents the location - since your choices are limited, use your creativity here!
Step Three: Follow these requirements to complete your movie
a. Use your rough draft as a guide - include the dialogue that you used in your rough draft
b. Length: Minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 2 minutes
Save your work often!
Project is DUE at the end of the hour on Thursday!
